Following resource-based conflicts among member states of the Inter-governmental Authority on Development, IGAD, the consortium is holding a meeting in Mombasa to address the issues. The conference will review effectiveness of the Conflict Early Warning and Response Mechanism, CEWARN, which focuses on pastoral and related conflicts in cross border areas in member states.
