BAT financial results

Cigarette manufacturer, British American Tobacco has registered a 12 percent dip in its full year pre-tax profit to 2.1 billion shillings. Although the company did not suffer additional taxation on its products in 2009, it faced a challenging year in which demand for its products in its local and key regional export markets declined slightly.
