Members of parliament appear to have agreed on key changes to the draft including the abolition of counties and the reinstatement of regional governments. The proposed amendment also takes away any role for the Prime Minister in key appointments in government. A section of ODM MPs has rejected the recommendations and is vowing to shoot them down in parliament. But as NTV’s Rashid Ronald reports the Prime Minister says the contentious issues will be resolved when he and the president attend an MPs meeting on Tuesday.
