Damning new report on CMC scandal

The Boardroom wars at autodealer CMC seem to be far from over. The first of two forensic audit reports on the company has made damning findings that could get more heads rolling at the car dealer. The report by Price Water House Coopers finds that Andy Forwarders, a logistics firm owned by a former CMC Chairman Peter Muthoka, overcharged CMC by over 1.1 billion shillings over a 5-year period. It also recommends the recovery of the lost sum personally from Muthoka. NTV’s Robert Nagila is back on the saga that has shaken the country’s capital markets.
