Financing elections

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission says it requires up to Ksh 20 billion for the forth-coming general election. The commission, which received the equivalent of two billion shillings from donors earlier today, says registration of voters alone will gobble nearly nine billion shillings. But as Brenda Wanga reports, IEBC says it now has enough time to organise credible elections.
