The high costs of electric energy and land in the country have been cited to be the two biggest hindrances to Kenya’s bid to emerge as regional industrial hub. While making this admission, Industrialization Minister Henry Kosgey has urged the government to consider a subsidy on power as an incentive for more investment into the country’s manufacturing sector.
