MPs on the edge over poll cases

One of the most controversial parliamentary elections in 2007, was the subject of heated arguments as the petition picked pace. The Juja parliamentary election results sparked protests at KICC during the tallying process. The returning officer told the court that 66 ballot boxes had been tampered with after the voting. The petition is only one among several that are pending before the courts.
