Most wanted poacher arrested

One of the most wanted poachers in the country has been arrested.
Adan Hussein Abdi said to have been in the illegal business for at least 40 years, was arrested in Garissa in an operation carried out by the Kenya Wildlife Service officers. Abdi has been the leader of an 8-man gang, which has been poaching elephants for ivory and giraffes for game meat.
