US envoy in show of solidarity

US ambassador Michael Rannerberger has given a reassurance of his country’s commitment to peaceful co-existence with the Muslim community. Rannerbeger says religious tolerance is to ensure that every individual’s freedom of religion is respected. But even as the US ambassador spoke, controversy is rife in the US with many questioning the religious affiliation of US President Barrack Obama.
